Human Resources Department
The Human Resources Department for the Western District of Texas recruits for all vacancies for the U.S. District Clerk's Office, U.S. Probation, and U.S. Pretrial Services. We only accept applications when a position vacancy exists. Please follow the application procedures when submitting application materials.
Divisional Offices
San Antonio is the main office for the Western District of Texas. Divisional offices are located in Austin, Del Rio, El Paso, Midland-Odessa, Pecos and Waco.
Citizenship Requirements
Employees of the United States courts must be citizens of the United States or citizens of countries with treaty relations with the United States.

The Court is not authorized to reimburse travel expenses for interviews or relocation. Please note that final candidates will also undergo a background check and may be given a test to determine level of skill/knowledge. Employment with the U. S. District Court is considered excepted service.
