Citizenship Requirements

Employees of the United States courts must be citizens of the United States or citizens of countries with treaty relations with the United States.

Other Information

The Court is not authorized to reimburse travel expenses for interviews or relocation. Please note that final candidates will also undergo a background check and may be given a test to determine level of skill/knowledge. Employment with the U. S. District Court is considered excepted service.

The Officer and Officer Assistant Medical Guidelines applies to all applicants for Officer and Officer Assistant Positions in the U.S. Pretrial Services or U.S. Probation Offices, Western District of Texas.
